Random Hairband Haul & Mag Scans

I bought a bunch of cheap hairbands at Diva today. My hair is irritating me! I'd love to cut a short pixie type hairstyle but hairdressers always tell me my face is too broad for that style. 005copy I picked up these 2 free mags at Gloria Jean's while buying coffee (where you can buy a regular latte for S$2.50 from 9am-1pm). Interesting, isn't it? There's a local Korean-English Lifestyle magazine! Korean wave must be really big in Singapore for such a magazine to exist? 003copy And I want to know where can I get this ice cream? I want to eat it! Cos it's strawberry and it's got a funny face and looks like a pile of poo. LOL! Is it a real ice cream? I wonder. 004copy There's a DIY feature in the mag for reworking your old tee into a bag. 006copy Apologies, blurry pics taken during free-bored time with my handphone. Not the best hp camera! Need to buy a new phone. © Copyright. All rights reserved.

Partial FAQ, Whitening Lotion & Sweet Scans

Hello, I'm back! I woke late today! Happy holiday and Happy Easter! It's the start of my long break! I'm taking time off from work, staying home to cook, work on my projects, go for massages and treatments etc. Then heading off to Tokyo and Seoul the week after! I really need to find a small desk this week, to squeeze into my small apartment. Working from my bed sucks. First thing after eating some late breakfast today, I worked hard (dedicated blogger! haha!) to quickly put together the FAQ page. I added a link to it at the side bar, so you can find it easily. There were some questions which needed answering fast, so I hurried to put them up, so you can find the answers there. It's not complete yet though, because I couldn't find some questions that were asked in my older posts. I'll continue to work on it, so if you have other questions, or your questions weren't answered, feel free to ask me in my more recent posts, so I can find them. I also added a CBOX so feel free to ask me questions there, but I'm really disorganised in some ways, so bear with me. :D Enough with the words. I was very taken by many things I saw in the April issue of Sweet magazine. I've never been able to dress cute/sweet but I really like cute/sweet stuff. Can someone help me? I can't read Japanese! *whine* Are the Uniqlo stuff limited editions or something, available only in Japan? I want to get them, but if they're available in the Singapore store, I guess I can get them here instead. And is the Samantha Vega bag that looks like a Chanel clone, is it available for sale? 027copy 025copy I really want these accessories or if I can get look-alikes it'll be fine too. Aren't they sweet? 028copy 026copy Lately, I'm abit obsessed about getting my whole body to the same skintone, and slathering on lots of body whitening lotion but they are not working! Any good ones to recommend? I'm thinking of hauling Fancl's body whitening lotion. My cousin said, "Just get a tan!" Girl! What a thing to say to someone who hates the sun! Lol. Here's one lotion that I'm using, Roserity White Rose. It contains Tocopherol which is stupposed to help with whitening/brightening? It's not working fast enough. 029copy © Copyright. One Big Pile of Medicines and Magazines

I have been sick. Check out the crazy big pile of meds the doc gave me for my stomach ailments and a cream for my skin! This does not include the flu meds and cough meds. Woozy just looking at them. I don't think I'll eat them all! << (me bad patient) 008copy

While sick at home, I watch Boys Before Flowers (Korean k-drama version of Hana Yori Dango, about the exploits of 4 "flower boys" known as the F4). I'm nuts about the show, unable to tear myself away, no matter how ridiculous the story gets sometimes. I like the actors (Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum, I'm growing to like one of the characters in the story, Ji Hoo). Guess it helps that I didn't see the other Japanese and Taiwanese versions so I can't make comparisons. 002copy I don't know why I keep buying magazines when there's a wealth of information on the net! I really can't afford the space for keeping them but I have a hard time throwing them. While at home, I keep staring at this stack I accumulated in the past few months and feel compelled to start throwing some older ones, especially the English ones which are from 08 seasons that I bought at a big discount. Normally we are told to tear out the useful stuff before throwing, but I always tear almost the entire magazine. I'm useless with that, so I think I'll just throw what I must. 003copy Lately I discovered Taiwanese magazines. They are fun, because I can actually read the Chinese, instead of just staring at the photos and guessing at the kanji in the Japanese mags. Some of them like ef, I think are translations of Japanese ones. 004copy I like this Gold-Brown look from the February issue of Choc, a mag which I think is targetted at younger girls in their late teens and early twenties. I seem unable wear these sort of colours well. Inside the latest March issue of FF, there are fashionable bags. 005copy And cute accessories! 007copy I want the Anna Sui strawberry set (bottom left corner). 006copy © Copyright. Magazine Scans 女人我最大 2008 冬季号

I'm curious ... Do Kose SA have a way of looking and knowing whether your skin is suitable for their products? My skin is generally ok, but I needed a better eye cream and also wanted to try their Sekkisei lotion. But the SA don't seem to want to sell me their skincare product! I tried several counters but at all of them the SA were taciturn and unwilling to explain the products or their benefits. Is it because they think the product won't suit me? Now I'm afraid to buy because they are usually fine when I try to ask them about makeup. Ended up buying $300 plus worth of Biotherm skincare products instead. I started using them yesterday. Will report on the efficacy of the products after a few days of use. Here are some photo/scans of the Queen magazine (女人我最大) 2008 winter issue from Taiwan that I just bought. It's a very nice magazine, filled with lots of information and tips like those Japanese magazines. Image014 How to Dress in Boots: for Short Legs vs Fat Leg. Hahaaha.
