Sponsored Review: Fancl Limited Edition Dance Series

Long-time readers of my blog know that Fancl is a favourite brand of mine. I had previously positively reviewed their Mild Cleansing Oil in a non-sponsored comparison review post.

Fancl products are preservative-free to assure no potentially harmful preservatives and additives will damage your skin and health. Hence, it has a "safety and gentleness" assurance.

Recently, I received some of Fancl's famed cleansing products in their Limited Edition release containers. The products within are the same quality items but the containers are beautifully illustrated designs that can be kept and re-used.

There are in total three limited edition designs: Ballet Dance, Hula Dance and Samba Dance, all illustrated by Japanese Fashion Illustrator Licaco.

The specially designed Ballet series also comes in a Limited Edition Perfect Washing Set Collection consisting of 60mil Mild Cleansing Oil and 25g Facial Washing Powder.

Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil

As I mentioned earlier, I had previously positively reviewed their Mild Cleansing Oil in a non-sponsored comparison review post. Just a short recap here.

REVIEW
Pros
  • Freshness guarantee
  • Gentle on the skin
  • No preservatives, hence no potentially irritating ingredients
  • Not overly oily
  • Not too thick or thin, spreads well without pulling
  • Rinses clean
  • Thoroughly removed makeup
Cons
  • Limited time to use it up, as it is preservative free, there is a set period that you must finish using this oil

Fancl Facial Washing Powder

Fancl Facial Washing Powder (moisturising effect) and Facial Washing Powder Light (light, refreshing effect) are designed to deliver optimal cleansing with a creamy and dense foam to thoroughly lift dift and impurities. The foam cocoons the skin to retain natural and essential moisture and cushions it from additional stress. Fancl recommends enhancing the cleansing process with their Facial Washing Puff which helps with gentle removal of dirt and dead skin, while promoting blood circulation.

To use the powder and puff, first, wet the puff with water, lightly squeeze out excess water and sprinkle half to one teaspoon of Facial Washing Powder evenly on the puff. Add water and blend powder then squeeze and release puff to create a creamy dense foam.

VERDICT
YYYY /5

Overall, I love these Fancl cleansing products. They are gentle yet effective and that they come in pretty limited edition designs just adds to the appeal.

Fancl Limited Edition Samba Dance Collection Facial Washing Powder and Facial Washing Powder Light retail at $26 for 50g each from 26 november 2010 at all Fancl outlets.

The other designs were previously available in August and September. I'm not sure, but there may still be some available at the counters and outlets.
