Ultra-cute!

Looking at or touching fluffy animals like rabbits make me feel happy. In principle, I don't want animals to suffer for my beauty but I previously seldom took the effort to stop buying products from companies that tested on animals. Recently, I've managed to be more conscious and made some animal-friendly changes to my buying habits. So I was very glad to read: "Scientific American reported that researchers now have a new way of testing toxicity that doesn't involve adorable, helpless (and scientifically useful) animals. Instead, it involves lab-grown human skin." ... read more.

What about you? Do you make a conscious effort to avoid products that have been tested on animals? Or to only buy from companies that do not test on animals?

That sounds super creepy - lab-grown skin?!

Well, I'm won over by products that don't test on animals but I don't use such products exclusively. Eg: I'm a big Body Shop fan and do appreciate their message on non-animal testing.
