Random Back-From-Holiday Post
Hiya'll!! I'm home finally!
Spent yesterday unpacking (basically just dumping everything into the cupboards and laundry baskets haha) and lazing at home.
I forgot to buy alot of stuff! I need to plan another holiday hahaha.
One of the things I missed out on buying was a Samantha Thavasa bag! I asked the girl at the shop in Shinjuku and she said she'll reserve the bag at Narita shop for me. It'll save me about a few hundred yen for duty free? But she failed to tell me the shop is at Terminal 2. So, when I arrived at Terminal 1, there was no shop nor bag for me! *SOB*
Fortunately, I bought the wallet. I bought 2, 1 for my mum for Mother's Day (she LOVED it .. keke.) The SA told me it's a design that's sold only in that shop in Tokyo, so it's a good thing! I didn't get the charms I wanted though, because I thought I wanted to look at them at the airport. *SOB again*
My cousin is back in Tokyo/Yokohama now, and will return home soon. Should I ask her to get the Thavasa bag for me? Another few hundred dollars would get me another LV bag though, so maybe I shouldn't, since I always prefer LV anyway. I do want some Thavasa Petite charms though. *Scatterbrain*
I can't post haul photos, it's too daunting haha. So I'll show you some random food I ate (I ate too much to show you everything lol!) I wasn't very diligent with photos on this trip though. I didn't photograph everything I ate nor everything I saw ... but you'll notice, I really love strawberry :p.
(Lalaport Toyosu, Tokyo)
(Myeong Dong, Seoul)

(Seoul)
And some random shots from Seoul and Tokyo.
(Seoul, some palace, I forgot the name haha)
(View from my hotel in Myeong Dong, Seoul. That LG sign in the middle? It's actually a huge LCD display that shows ads and tv programmes haha!)
(Tokyo)
I also had a mini "adventure" returning to Tokyo from Seoul. We were on a late night flight and I was stopped for a luggage check. The officer (guy) rummaged through my luggage and at some point, I think he continued looking because he was simply curious about the stuff I bought! He kept asking me, "What's this?" And I in turn reply, "Shampoo," or "face wash" or "makeup". And he said, "Souvenir? So much?" etc. I think initially I was stopped because I fit a profile, "Single female traveller, coming in on a late night flight" but after he looked in my luggage, he was just amazed that I could have bought so much stuff. He must have thought I was smuggling stuff in all the bottles and containers hahahaha!!!
Anyway, when I was returning home, I found my check-in luggage had another kilo or two to spare (before hitting the max allowance) and I heard myself saying, "Oh! I could have bought a few more bottles of this and that!" Hahaha, true blue shopping addict, am I not?
Ok, I'm off for lunch with a couple of old friends! One of them is back here visiting, from Melbourne where she now lives. See ya'll later!!
